The Sainte-Catherine church, which has a bell tower separate from the principal building, is the largest church made out of wood in France. Étretat is best known for its chalk cliffs, including three natural arches and a pointed formation called L'Aiguille or the Needle, which rises 70 metres (230 ft) above the sea. In the evening you can visit one of the most famous cabarets in Paris ( Moulin Rouge or Paradis Latin). Overnight in the hotel of Paris.
  • Monday/ Loire Valley Castles- Bourges
Breakfast in the hotel. Visit Loire Valley. Come spend an exceptional day in the heart of France’s Loire Valley. You’ll visit the Château de Chenonceau and the Château de Chambord, two of the Loire Valley’s most illustrious chateaux, with our tour guide. The history of Lyon has been unfolding for the past 2 000 year. Throughout this time, the area has always been inhabited, lively and busy. Discover the city's heritage over the centuries, from Antiquity to the present: Fourviere and the basilica, the Roman theatres, Old Lyon and its traboules or passageways, the cathedral of Saint-Jean, Place Bellecour, the Palais de la Bourse and also the Croix-Rousse district. Strasbourg is the capital and largest city of the Grand Est region of France and is the official seat of the European Parliament. Located close to the border with Germany in the historic region of Alsace, it is the capital of the Bas-Rhin departement. Strasbourg's historic city centre, the Grande Ile (Grand Island), was classified a World Heritage site by UNESCO in 1988, the first time such an honour was placed on an entire city centre. Strasbourg is immersed in Franco-German culture and although violently disputed throughout history, has been a cultural bridge between France and Germany for centuries. Return to the hotel. Excursion (optional) in Colmar. Overnight in the hotel.
  • Thursday/ Champagne Reims-Paris
Breakfast in the hotel. Move to Reims. City walk with a guide. A city of wide boulevards, impressive classical and Gothic architecture, and elegant squares lined with cafes. Reims is actually only forty-five minutes from Paris by train, and we think it has some of that Parisian chic – it just also happens to be the Champagne capital of the world. A perfect size to get to know on foot, we’ve put together a wander around the city, taking in both big sights and hidden streets. You should visit Cathedral (Notre-Dame de Reims) - the French equivalent, somewhat, for England's Westminster Abbey, the cathedral at Reims was the church in which numerous French monarchs were officially crowned. Reims is one of the later Gothic cathedrals and renowned for its height. Saint Remi Basilica, a Romanesque church some way south of the centre of town. Free time. For extra payment you will have an opportunity to visit one of many champagne houses and taste several types of Champagne. Move to Paris. Hotel check-in. During the second half of the day excursion (optional) to Louvre. Overnight in the hotel.
